The color matches the picture. alittle about myself im 5'7" and have about a 14" muscular calf the shaft of the boot comes about 1" below my knee and i have about 1" of room around my calf. The boot fits true to size. I have walked around in them for a couple of hours they are very comfortable unlike other boots i have owned. It is tight around the foot area and more of a looser fit around the ankle makeing them feel more like a shoe then a boot which is a added plus for me. They arrived promptly and in a great package/box. Over all a great buy!!. I exchanged for an 8. 5, which fit, but my toes are still a little cramped. Ultimately, I ended up returning the second pair, because they were on sale for $53. 99 at Macy's on Black Friday. To sum it up, the shoe is great, but runs small, and you could probably get them cheaper somewhere else.
